RECENT SECURITY ISSUES BROUGHT TO YOUR LOCAL OFFICERS' ATTENTION

At the March 19th Membership Meetings, Members brought security concerns to our attention. Please see the issues addressed below.

F9/F11 PANIC BUTTON

RNs should ask their managers which computers can send out the F9/F11 panic button alert to get security to their location quickly and quietly.

ID BADGE LAST NAME REMOVAL

LVH-P employees can have their last name removed from their ID badge by emailing Rebecca Counterman in security to request a new badge with the last initial only.

EPIC PHOTO REMOVAL

Procedures to place an IT “ticket” to have your photo removed from EPIC documentation:

1. On the intranet go to the Technology drop-down and choose Self-Service.
2. Go to: Report An Issue.
3. Fill out the form; in the description of the issue type: "ATTN: EPIC SECURITY, Please remove my photo from documentation."
