This notice is to inform you of proposed amendments to WAC 332-120-060 & -070 and to WAC 332-130-080(3). Preproposal Statements of Inquiry, CR-101s, have been posted in the Washington State Register under WSR 23-11-070 and WSR 23-11-161.
CR-102s with the proposed amendments will be published in early August. Public hearings on the proposed changes will be held toward the end of August.
The proposed amendment to WAC 332-120-060 & -070 would eliminate the requirement for a land surveyor to file a Record of Survey upon remonumentation of monuments destroyed as a result of construction or other activities such as road resurfacing projects.
The proposed amendment to WAC 332-130-080(3) would require that a statement be placed on recorded surveys to report the relative accuracy achieved and the method of mathematical analysis used.
