The LPC BOOK CLUB will meet on June 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 311 to discuss An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth by Col. Chris Hadfield.  

Col. Hadfield spent decades training as an astronaut and has logged nearly 4000 hours in space.  In this book, he takes readers deep into his years of training and space exploration to show how to make the impossible possible.  Through eye-opening, entertaining stories, he shares insights that will change the way you view life on Earth — especially your own. Hadfield proves himself to be not only a fierce explorer of the universe, but also a deeply thoughtful explorer of the human condition.

Family Promise Signups for June 

We are looking forward to hosting our Family Promise families from June 23-30, who are temporarily homeless and are being housed at the new Warren County Family Promise facility in Lebanon.  

Below are the signups. See description for details. Signups will also be available on Sunday, June 9, 16 and 23 at the Information Table. Someone will be at the Information Table after each service to answer any questions. 

Dinner/Meal Hosts, Evening Activities Hosts, Overnight Hosts (more details of the hosts can be found in the Signup Genius). Note: Meal quantities will be updated on Friday, June 21, with the final headcount, including adjustments due to allergies. NOT TO EXCEED 20 servings. Thank you for your flexibility so we can best serve our families and allow us to not waste your gift and time.  

Parking Announcement

The Lebanon Garden Tour will hold its tour on June 23rd in downtown Lebanon. Due to their event, parking near or around the church during the 8:30 or 11 a.m. service that day could be affected. If you are able, please leave LPC Parking lot spaces available for those with limited mobility.

Children's Church Change

Children’s Church is moving to the 11 a.m. service for a while. Children attending the 8:30 a.m. worship service should check out the “Little Red Cart,” located in the back of the Sanctuary. The children can choose any of the fun supplies on it to bring with them to the service. Please return the supplies after use. Thank you!
