Elixir Brew Co. (Downtown Buford)

Join us for worship THIS Sunday, July 7 (10am)

We will not be back at Monkey Wrench until after Labor Day.

Good News Family & Friends,

Good News Church GA is having a great time on our summer tour! Two weeks ago, we gathered in homes. This past Sunday, we met at the American Legion (Sugar Hill). This upcoming Sunday, we're meeting at the brand new Elixir Brew Co. in downtown Buford! Make plans to stay after for lunch (our treat) catered by Jubilee's Pot Pies. For all the details and the address, click here.

We had an awesome experience at the American Legion (Sugar Hill) this past Sunday, and we were especially blessed by Harold Chedotal's powerful testimony of how God rescued him from a life of addiction to freedom, hope, and purpose. To access the video and audio, click here.

Speaking of freedom... The 4th of July is this Thursday, and if you want to see a GREAT fireworks show and hang out with fun people (yes, us), come join us THIS Wednesday, July 3rd at Sparks in the Park (Sugar Hill fireworks). We're setting up tailgate tents at 7am to reserve a group space, so let us know if you have a tent that we can include to give us maximum shade. Bring chairs, food and whatever beverages you'd like (no glass). Vendors are also available. For details, click here.

Quotes of the Week

“Trust is lost in buckets and gained in thimbles.” - Harold Chedotal

Verse of the Week

“Help, Lord.” - Psalm 12:1

The vision of Good News Church GA is "to experience and express LOVE from God to others." The verse that undergirds our vision is Galatians 5:5b, “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” We value people, community, relationships, prayer, and Bible reading. We also value being able to be yourself. We’re all struggling with something, so there’s no need to pretend that we have it all together.

The mission of Good News Church GA is "to connect with people and build relationships through community workshops, neighborhood-focused ministry, serving local needs, mentoring, and worship."
