Fairview Island Development Proposal Open Houses

As we let you know in our Newsflash on Friday, a development application for Fairview Island has been submitted to the Town of Huntsville.

LOBA has received many communications and requests for more information regarding this proposal.  At LOBA's request, the purchaser, Mr. George Konrad, has:
  • Requested and obtained a deferral of the hearing of the matter at the Huntsville Planning Committee to June 14;
  • Prepared an open letter explaining the proposal, and;
  • Organized two Public Open House Meetings for anyone who would like to drop in and ask questions. Both Open Houses are at the Active Living Centre in Huntsville and are scheduled for:
Saturday May 13; 9:00-11:00 AM
Saturday June 3, 12:00-2:00 PM

We support these actions of the purchaser to engage with our members and the community and hope you will take advantage of these opportunities to become informed on this matter.

More information, the planning report, development proposal and site plans can be obtained from, Marie Poirier Planning (705-635-9860; marie@mpplanning.com) or the Town of Huntsville (705-789-1751 ext. 2351; planning@huntsville.ca).

We look forward to meeting many of our members at the Open Houses.
