We are reaching out to you on behalf of LLH to share some exciting news and request your support for our ongoing mission to serve our community.
Thanks to the generous support of the Triad Foundation, as well as current and former board members, we are announcing a Matching Fund Campaign of $10,000. We are thrilled to have this opportunity as a sign of their deep commitment to our mission. The Matching Fund campaign starts now and ends Saturday, September 7th.
LLH is a member organization dedicated to providing services that allow seniors to age in place and enjoy social opportunities. This prevents isolation and lets them stay in the homes and neighborhoods that they love. To date, we have supported nearly 470 seniors in our community, making a significant difference in their lives. 15% of our members are low-income and receive financial assistance to cover their membership dues.
A recent study by Cornell University students highlighted that for every $1 of membership fees, $3 in benefits were provided to members in need of our services. However, membership fees only cover 30% of our operating budget. We now have a unique opportunity and rely on the generosity of donors like you to help fund the remaining 70% of expenses.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those we serve. By donating to our matching grant fund, your impact will be doubled, allowing us to continue providing essential services to our community.
