LIVE FROM SPACE! Live downlink from the International Space Station with NASA Astronaut Jeff Williams! 

Join us for an amazing LIVE conversation with  NASA astronaut Jeff Williams  at the USA Science & Engineering Festival on Saturday, April 16 on the Curie Stage in Hall C. Jeff, who is currently on the space station, will be joined here on Earth by former astronaut Greg Johnson  and special guests Cree Cicchino  and Madisyn Shipman  from the hit Nickelodeon show Game Shakers . Learn about science and technology research happening right now on the ISS National Laboratory and resources that you can explore at home to connect with space. "A Beautiful Planet" Special Screening ONLY for Festival Attendees!  

The USA Science & Engineering Festival  attendees are also invited to a free advance screening of the IMAX Entertainment film "A Beautiful Planet" at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum at 4 PM and 5 PM on Saturday, April 16. Free tickets can be picked up at the CASIS booth # 6507  in Hall E.  

As a special thank you to our volunteers, IMAX & CASIS will have a limited number of tickets set aside for Festival volunteers.

Workshop at the Festival for Science Educators! 

Beyond Benign and the American Association of Chemistry Teachers invites you to an exciting free workshop on "Green Chemistry and Sustainable Science!"
When: Saturday, April 16th
Where: Walter E. Washington Convention Center-Room 154AB
Time: 10am-12pm or 2-4pm-each session is the same
Special Guest: Dr. John C. Mather, Senior Astrophysicist in the Observational Cosmology Laboratory at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, and 2006 winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics
