Student Speaker Topics

Every year the sitting Council of Governors at their August COG Meeting are presented 5 Topics to choose from. They hash them over and sometimes change a word or two to make it a viable subject.

Ever wonder where these Topics come from? They come from you and me.

Every year over 50 Topics are presented to the MD4 Student Speaker Committee. Do you have a Topic that you think would be something the students 9-12 graders would like to research and present a 5 -10- minute speech about?

If so, please send any and all topics to DGE Scott Quinlan, 4L4 District Student Speaker Chair PCC David Radtke or the Student Speaker Foundation Chair Carol Linehan.

Please submit prior to August 1 st so that they can get your suggested topic to the MD4 Student Speaker

Committee.

LCIF Timing...Prepare to be Patient

The processing time for our LCIF donations, and the receipt of MJF's and progressives have always been a bit longer than we would wish.

Now however, with the implementation of our brand new technology, things unintentionally are even more delayed.

We are being promised the situation is being  worked on...and hopefully (sooner, rather than later) the timing for things LCIF will soon be shortened greatly.
