I LOVE being a Lion in 4L4 and hope to help make this a memorable year for you, for me and our clubs. I especially would like to enjoy the feeling our year gives us all. Our past International

President put it this way to me at a Council of Governor’s meeting last year: “Measure the success of your year on how it made you feel and not the numbers you achieved”.

I want us all to feel good about our service to others, our goals achieved, our impact on a needy world and the lasting relationships we share. As I prepare to serve this year with you, I embrace the

Stanton Lions is very sad to announce the passing of Lion Lee Wilkins. Lee was a true lion. She attended almost every meeting, participated with her club and understood the lions protocols. She will be truly missed!

Chino Valle Lions is very sad to announce the passing of Lion Reece Franklin. He was a great man who served with a big smile and a bigger heart. He could be found at the ice cream truck keeping everyone company and always had a kind word and smile. He will be missed!

We Made It! We Did It!

Once again Lions have stepped up to the plate

and hit a grand slam!

What I am talking about is the report given by LCIF

President Brian Sheehan at the recently concluded

Lions International Convention in Melbourne,Australia.

As you may know, each year, the Lions Club International

Foundation sets a goal for our fundraising efforts (to gather

the funds to support our service projects).

This year, LCIF President Brian asked us to STRETCH

our efforts...above and beyond...could we meet the goal,

and then some?

Well, we did it. We did what he asked and more!

President Brian asked for $70 million dollars in

LCIF giving in 2023-2024....Our Lions and Clubs

responded by giving $75 million dollars!

Well done Lions and clubs! You have every reason

to be proud of this accomplishment.

If not why not??? It is important to report so LCI can obtain the multitude of grants they work to receive to continue to do all the good in our communities and across the globe.
