LIC Springs! Street Festival Recap


LICP's signature free community street festival, LIC Springs!, returned on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The event took place on Vernon Boulevard between 46th and 50th Avenues and featured free activities, performances, giveaways, and more from local businesses and organizations located throughout LIC.

Weds., May 22, 6-9 p.m. - Support John Lehrer Dance company at their spring benefit, hosted at Culture Lab LIC. Enjoy dance performances, live music, delectable cuisine from SHI, an open bar, exciting raffles, prizes, and much more. Details


Fri., May 24, 6:30-8 p.m. - Get sporty and socialize with a pickleball social at Court 16. Details


Weds., May 29, 5:30 p.m. - Listen to traditional Ukrainian music from Cultural Forces, the cultural arm of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center. Details


Weds., May 29, 7-9 p.m. - Test your trivia knowledge at Finback LIC's monthly trivia night over drinks and a food pop-up from The Masonry. Details

New Staff Members Join LICP

Quinn Dunham

Office Manager


Quinn Dunham recently joined LICP as its Office Manager where they work directly with LICP leadership on various administrative projects and oversee the daily operations of the office. Quinn is an experienced operations and office manager, most recently having worked for a political campaign office. Quinn is excited to not only contribute to the organization's impact but also be part of a team that works for the good of the community here in LIC. Quinn's pronouns are they/them and he/him.

Dylan Brown

Manager, LIC BID Retail Support and Operations


Dylan Brown recently joined LICP as its Manager, LIC BID Retail Support and Operations. His background in community development and urban planning will assist in his approach to overseeing the Long Island City Business Improvement District, making the connection between Long Island City’s rapid urban development and economic growth. Dylan is currently enrolled for his Masters in Urban Planning at Hunter College.
