Last week, LICP debuted our latest public art installation, "Lumina Arcana," which features two large neon-light-clad pergolas on Vernon Boulevard. In celebration of Pride Month, the installation’s lights were programmed to display a rainbow of colors! 🌈
A special thank you to artist Kenny Greenberg, the NYC Department of Small Business Services, the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, the NYC Department of Transportation, Con Edison, and Boyce Technologies for help with the project. Thank you also to Malai, Safir Mediterranean, all of our speakers and partners at the event, and to everyone who came for the drag performance and story hour. Make sure to come back and check out the installation at night to see it lit up! 💡
