Dog Month in LIC - All Month


It’s National Dog Month in LIC! Explore the neighborhood with dog-related events and promotions from local businesses and organizations, and don’t forget to check out LICP's interactive art installation in Rafferty Triangle, “Dog Island Summer.”


Saturday, August 26, 12-4 p.m. - Culture Lab LIC celebrates International Dog Day with LIC DOGust Fest, a full doggy day affair featuring a mega dog adoption event, photo booth, dog-friendly vendors, and Culture Lab LIC bandanas. Details


Sunday, August 27, 2-5 p.m. - Join NYC Second Chance Rescue at Focal Point Beer Co for a pawsome adoption event with discounted adoption fees. Details

Save the Date - LIC Summit - Oct. 17


Join fellow LIC thought leaders for a half day summit featuring a variety of panels and conversations that showcase why LIC continues to be one of NYC's most dynamic neighborhoods.


Historically a home for the innovation economy and sitting at the geographical center of the New York City region, LIC has experienced monumental growth over the past decade.
