LIC Partnership 19th Annual Real Estate Breakfast Recap

Our 19th Annual Real Estate Breakfast took place on Tuesday, April 16 at Brewster LIC and brought together over 300 attendees for a panel discussion exploring the state of the neighborhood, and the challenges and opportunities that underpin its status.


We thank our moderator David Brause (Brause Realty) and panelists Erica Desai (CityPickle), Amy Hau (The Noguchi Museum), Evan Obsatz (Butterfield Market), and John Silviano (Barone Management). Sat., Apr. 20-Fri., Apr. 26 - Gantry Kids hosts another "Kids Night Out," featuring physical activity, games, pizza, popcorn, and a movie, a CPR/AED first aid certification course, and a weeklong spring break camp filled with fun and fitness.


Sun., Apr. 21, 1-4 p.m. - LIC-based dance company Valerie Green/Dance Entropy performs a dynamic, site-specific, physical investigation into water, time, and environment accompanied by live music at New York Hall of Science. Details


Sun., Apr. 21, 3-4 p.m. - This Earth Day weekend, PinProductions will be performing their award-winning children's storytelling show "The Selfish Giant" at Culture Lab LIC. Details


Sun., Apr. 21, 3-7 p.m. - Enjoy Beats over Brunch, a music community that connects artists and audiences through live music paired with a unique dining experience, at Urban Vegan Roots. Details

Volunteer for Street Tree Care With the LIC BID and Big Reuse - Apr. 24


Weds., Apr. 24, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Meet the LIC Business Improvement District and Big Reuse at 24-30 Skillman Avenue in LIC for street tree care. All supplies will be provided.
