Buzzing About LHC's BIG Event | LHC is excited to announce that the BIG Event is returning to a luncheon program format this year. Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, May 8, beginning at 11 a.m. for an extremely inspirational afternoon with Fr. Greg Boyle, Founder, of Homeboy Industries, along with two of his homeboys as they share their stories that remind us that, "there is no us and them, just us". Based in Los Angeles, California, Homeboy Industries is the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world and has been highlighted nationally by several media outlets. The BrightMinds Foundation will honor Suzi Padgett, LP '16, as the inaugural recipient of the Foundation’s Philanthropist of the Year award recognizing her commitment and contributions to HCPSS students and educators. The HCPSS Board of Education will also award Suzi the Friends of Education Award. In addition, Marcy Leonard,
