SEPTEMBER 2024 LETTER
The Lord is speaking to us with an urgency as His children on how we are living, we must examine ourselves! We cannot take the grace of God lightly. Jesus is coming one day, we don't know the day or the hour. When He does, how is He going to find us as a church? Are we a ready church? We will be judged individually, each of us accordingly. We will be judged as to how we live and our deeds. How will He find us? Will He find us living for Him, doing His will, or occupied in the things of this world?
For these very reasons, we cannot take God's grace in vain. We understand that God's grace is God's undeserved favor toward us, but it is also His power to guide us in our paths of obedience.
2 Corinthians 13: 5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith.
It is time for us as Christians to examine our lives to see if we are truly living as He requires us to live. There is no time to lose. The body of Christ must rise up and shine! The world is failing and the Lord has us here for such a time as this.
Do not say I'm good with the Lord and go about your business. When the Lord speaks to us, we must take it to heart and humble ourselves. A humble heart examines, gives reverence, and surrenders! Pride is the enemy that does not allow someone to recognize their wrong.
It is important that we truly understand the kingdom's purpose and allow the Lord to manifest Himself through us. How are we going to be light in this world if we cannot comprehend the importance of the purpose of the kingdom?
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
These were Jesus' words to us. We need to pause and examine ourselves and evaluate our lives to see if we are truly living in faith. We need to evaluate ourselves personally. This is not to condemn us but rather reflect and position ourselves on whether we are truly living for our Heavenly Father. If we are not living for Him, we have time to direct our lives to Him.
We must give glory to the Lord with our lives. The only way we can give glory to the Lord is if we live for Him. We have to understand that apart from Him we cannot reflect His light in our lives.
There is no time to waste! This world is getting darker, we need to shine!
We are light in this dark world, in our homes, jobs, and wherever you are. Remember that you are the representative of our Lord here in this world. He has chosen you for such a time as this!
Let us humble ourselves to the Lord to let our light shine! We must advance the kingdom of God and touch the lives of those who need to be touched. The Lord can only accomplish this if we let our light shine! LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!
