May 1, 2013 Chaska, Minn. - Laketown Electric, with partners RJM Construction and Ridgeview broke ground on a three story, 74,000 sq. ft addition to the 212 Medical Center.
This dynamic expansion signifies the significant achievements that the Ridgeview group has developed since the construction of the original building in 2010. LEC was a major contributor on the first building, as we were the design-build contractor of choice, completing eight healthcare clinics and nine total spaces in that building.
Healthcare facilities are no stranger to the team at LEC, we consistently strive to exceed our clients expectations while delivering design-build healthcare facility solutions on time and on budget. For a list of some of the recent healthcare facilities that LEC has worked on, click on this list. If you would like additional information about the past healthcare projects we have completed such as project size, etc. we can share more information with you, but we just keep our client names confidential per their request. Robert Stevens, CEO of Ridgeview Medical Center and the RJM Construction team, broke ground at the 212 Medical Center during a ceremony in Chaska on May 1st.

Andy Kerber Promoted to Project Manager/Estimator
Andy Kerber was promoted to project manager and estimator on Monday, April 29. Andy has been with LEC sine 1998, and during that time has had the following titles at LEC: apprentice, journeyman, master electrician, foreman, head foreman and now project manager/estimator.
During Andy's 15 year tenure, he has been in charge of many significant projects for the organization. Some of those projects included a 2 megawatt generator to provide full redundancy for Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Not only did he lead medical projects, but he also led teams on large commercial ground up buildings, ice arenas, religious facilities, manufacturing facilities, and served as the main contact to many of LEC's largest maintenance accounts.
Andy's promotion fell within LEC's long-term plans, which is to develop the finest talent and to look within for promotional opportunities whenever possible. "We are extremely fortunate and proud to have Andy join our growing management team at LEC," said Vice President of Construction and Engineering, Chris Bergmann. "His level of professionalism and expertise in the field has helped to win over the respect of both our employees and customers alike over the last 15 years."
