JOIN LD2 NORTH PHOENIX

Neighboring LDs, Friends of DEMs, and Fellow PCs:

Imagine if each of us recruited one (1) person to become a Precinct Committee (PC) Member in LD2 North Phoenix.

We would double our capacity before election year.

Take a look at the map below. This is LD2 North Phoenix.

When you meet someone who lives in LD2, please highlight what's involved in the role of a PC. For example, PCs:

Stay informed about local/national issues and candidates.
Advocate for voter registration and voting rights.
Build relationships with Democrats in their precinct.
Educate voters in their precinct about the Democratic Party, its nominees, and issues.
Attend legislative district monthly meetings.
Attend MCDP & ADP Meetings.

It's about time to challenge Debbie Lesko.

Eight LDs overlap Congressional District 8. And LD2 is one of them! Several Democratic candidates have submitted Statements of Interest (four as of today) to run for this office in 2024.

In partnership with our neighboring districts, we are sponsoring a Candidates Forum on April 27 at the Rio Vista Recreation Center in Peoria. You won't want to miss this event - register today!

SUMMER INTERNSHIP - DON'T DELAY

APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED NOW!

LD2 is happy to announce their partnership with our neighboring district (LD4) to provide a summer internship program.

During this 10-week program running from June 4^th – August 13^th, you will meet other Democratic-minded students and learn valuable networking, writing, fundraising, and other skills with applications far beyond politics!

Applicants will be admitted on a rolling basis until 24 slots are filled or before May 19^th to be considered for the program. Several folks have already applied – don’t delay!

LD2 will hold its monthly meeting at the PVCC Conference Center (17811 N 32nd St), located off 32nd St, just North of Grovers. You’ll see a separate parking lot from the main campus. The agenda will be sent to PCs in advance.
