CELEBRATING PRIDE MONTH

Dear LD2 North Phoenix DEMs and Friends,

June is here, and with it comes Pride Month—a time of celebration, empowerment, and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Month reminds us of the ongoing struggle for justice and equal rights throughout history. It honors the bravery and resilience of trailblazers who fought discrimination, embracing love and acceptance.

As Democrats, we believe in amplifying diverse voices and valuing every individual. Inspired by the unwavering determination of the LGBTQ+ community, we strive for a just and inclusive society. Together, let's dismantle barriers, challenge prejudice, and ensure dignity, safety, and equality for all.

Today, and across this country, the LGBTQ+ community is under attack. And so, our fight for equality extends beyond June—we are dedicated to combating discrimination and uplifting everyone. We must stand united in supporting equality and rights for our LGBTQ+ friends, family, and neighbors.

Let us recommit ourselves to a world where love triumphs over hate, and where everyone can live authentically, free from persecution. Together, we will build a brighter future.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP - DONATE TODAY!

LD2 and LD4 officially launched this year's North Valley Democrats Internship Program. Donations to support the Fellows, food, books, and their efforts are encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Also, we are looking for a space to accommodate 25 attendees indoors, have WiFi, and have a means of projecting slides for the following dates from 1-3 PM: 07/02, 07/09, 07/16, 07/23, 07/30, 08/06, and 08/13. We will supply the funds for the food and non-alcoholic drinks.

NEW LOCATION FOR THE JUNE MONTHLY LD2 MEETING

LD2 will be meeting in a new location on the Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) campus in room KSC1000B. Please see the images below.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 21st, from 6:30-8:00 PM.

The Maricopa Country Democratic Party (MCDP) is hosting the Annual Summer Convention on Saturday, June 24th, from 10:00 AM to Noon.
