PASSION FOR EDUCATION RUNS DEEP WITH LD2 & LD4 LEADERS

Community members across the Valley attended the in-person Budget Town Hall Saturday, where Representatives Schwiebert, Terech and Senator Marsh delivered a phenomenal event. The experience, moderated by Adam Metzendorf, was informative and engaging, covering many important topics such as education, water, and housing.

Congratulations to Mary Fortney and her team for organizing such a successful event. I would also like to thank the LD2 PCs and volunteers who helped to welcome and sign in guests, including Greg Jackson, Blake Lister, Bill Ross, and Janice Ribordy.

We are fortunate for such incredible and transparent Legislators working hard to improve our communities. Thank you for all you do for us!

SUMMER INTERNSHIP

(DEADLINE APPROACHING SOON!)

LD2 is happy to announce its partnership with our neighboring district (LD4) to provide a summer internship program.

During this 10-week program running from June 4^th – August 13^th, you will meet other Democratic-minded students and learn valuable networking, writing, fundraising, and other skills with applications far beyond politics!

Applicants will be admitted on a rolling basis until 24 slots are filled or before May 19^th to be considered for the program. Several folks have already applied – don’t delay!
