Here is some more information about the key responsibilities of a Democratic Precinct Committee Member:

• Stay informed about local/national issues and candidates.
• Be an advocate for voter registration and voting rights.
• Build relationships with Democrats in your precinct.
• Educate voters in your precinct about the Democratic Party, its nominees, and issues.
• Attend legislative district monthly meetings.
• Attend MCDP & ADP Meetings.

STAND UP AGAINST BAD BILLS

The highest-priority committee hearing for the week is the House Commerce Committee, which will be on Tuesday morning at 10 AM.

We will be speaking against a bill that makes it harder to qualify for unemployment as well as a minimum wage preemption bill that would make it impossible for cities to raise their minimum wage to be higher than the rest of the state.

This was a very bad bill that we killed last year, and we need all hands on deck to kill it again, as this is a ballot proposition that Governor Hobbs cannot veto.

LD2 will hold its monthly meeting at the PVCC Conference Center (17811 N 32nd St), located off 32nd St, just North of Grovers. You’ll see a separate parking lot from the main campus. The agenda will be sent to PCs in advance.
