HELPING OUR LD2 CANDIDATES

We are so lucky to have representation at the State House with Representative Judy Schwiebert in office and want to keep her in office. We also have Jeanne Casteen who will be running for the State Senate. If Jeanne’s name sounds familiar, it’s because she was the 2020 Maricopa County Superintendent Democratic candidate who nearly won this seat. Let’s get both Judy and Jeanne on the ballot. Attend one of these canvass events:

Sunday March 20th 2:30 - 5:00 PM
These are crucial to get Jeanne on the ballot. If PCs are unavailable on those days and times, Mary Fortney (LD2 Campaign Manager) would be happy to cut them a list in their precinct so they can fill a page or two with signatures.

NEW VOTER ID CARDS COMING

According to the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office….Congressional and legislative boundaries were updated as a result of the decennial U.S. Census and the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission process.

The Commission certified new district maps in late January and sent those maps to the Arizona Secretary of State, who then disseminated the maps to counties to update their systems.

Maricopa County made reconfigurations to fit the over 800 voting precincts into the new congressional and legislative districts. As a result of these district boundary changes, the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office will mail out updated voter registration cards to all active registered voters in March 2022 which will reflect the new districts.
