Both Trap Field #1 & Trap Field #2 have been set up to throw singles only.
SASP & SCTP Nationals:
Young Guns and Range Racers youth shooting teams competed at Nationals in Ohio at The Cardinal Shooting Center last month. All the shooters did a great job during the week long event.
The LCSA Board of Directors would like to congratulate all of the youth shooters that participated in Nationals on a job well done!
PFSC Sporting Clays Fun Shoot:

PA Federations of Sportsmen & Conservationists (PFSC) is having a Sporting Clays Fun Shoot at LCSA. PFSC is a great organization that helps fight "to protect and conserve PA's natural resources, outdoor heritage and Second Amendment Rights."- PFSC
Build a squad of 4 shooters for a fun time.

Shoot SIG Match:
The Upper Pistol Bays will be closed for the Shoot SIG Match on August 2-4, 2024. More information below under "Event".
Sporting Clays Shooters:
Please remember to lower the shields/covers on the card readers at each station after removing your target card. The shields/covers are in place to help protect the card readers from the weather and to help prolong the lifespan of the devices.
Steel Target Approval:
Reminder: All outside steel targets need to be pre-approved by the Board of Directors prior to usage on club property. Targets can be approved on meeting nights, third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Please have all targets set up on the front covered porch by 6:45 PM, prior to the start of the meeting.
Indoor Range Safe Area:
The Indoor Range will be closed and used as a safe area during all shooting matches held at the Upper Pistol Bays.
This includes the following Upcoming Matches:
- Monthly IDPA Matches
- Monthly USPSA Matches
- Monthly Steel Challenge Matches
- Shoot SIG (8/2 - 8/4)
Indoor Pistol Range Rules:
Attention members using the Indoor Pistol Range: Please keep in mind that the door leading into the shooting range from the waiting area must be kept closed at all times, with the exception of entering and exiting the range. Do not prop the door open for any reason.
Club Bulletin Board:
The clubhouse bulletin board has been given a fresh look. The boards have been categorized into 3 sections: Events/News, Buy/Sell/Trade, and Advertising.
When posting items to the board, please be respectful of other members postings. We are pleased to announce the addition of a dedicated Advertising section to our bulletin boards. This new feature allows our members to showcase their skills, hobbies, or professional services by posting business cards and/or a brief description. This space serves as a valuable opportunity for our skilled members to connect with fellow LCSA members.
Buy, Sell, Trade Posting Rules:
For any member looking to utilizing the board, please adhere by the following rules.
1.Items for sale may only be posted by club members.
2.Write the date on the item(s) to be posted. Any items posted without dates will be removed immediately, regardless of how long it has been hanging on the board.
3.For Sale items will be removed 30 days after posting. Please post again if the item(s) are not sold or you would like them posted again.
4.Wanted items will be removed 60 days after posting. Please post again if still wanted.
Bullseye Target Shooting:
The Bullseye Target Shooting group is now meeting on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM at the Indoor Pistol Range.

Buy, Sell, Trade: Looking to downsize or add to your collection? In search of something specific? Members are able to post items on the bulletin board in the clubhouse.
Make sure to check it out, you never know what you might find!
Rifle Range Guest Policy: Rifle Range Guests, who are shooting, are permitted on Sundays ONLY from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Members may only bring 2 guests at a time per day. Guests need to be registered at the clubhouse counter before proceeding down to the range. The first 2 guests per year per member are $10 each. Subsequent guests after the initial 2 of the year are $25 per guest per day. Any member violating the guest policy is subject to loss of membership privileges.
Junior Members becoming an Adult Member:
The month a Junior Member turns 18 years old, and wishes to continue their membership, they are eligible to become an Adult Members. They will need to complete/submit an application and attend a 'New Member Meeting'. The $100 initiation fee is waived, however there will be the fees for the Membership and key card. * Please add a note on the completed application that they are transferring from a Junior Member to an Adult Member.

Whether you’re new to shooting competitions or an experienced competitor, you’ll enjoy 3 approachable stages that can be completed in just 100 rounds and an hour. Compete again in the same or another division for a discounted match fee. Bring any pistol or PCC or try out a new SIG pistol or PCC for an additional fee. You must be a SHOOT SIG member and shoot a SIG firearm to be eligible for prizes.

What’s Included: 100-rounds of sporting clays, use of golf carts by each 4-person squad, a taco bar lunch, opportunities to participate in basket raffles, a buy-in gun raffle for shooters only with additional tickets awarded at one of the stations based on score and any special clay target hit, instant gun raffles limited to 20 tickets at $20, and a 50-50 raffle.
Other: Non-shooters can purchase the taco bar lunch if desired. As a Fun Shoot, first time sporting clays shooters are welcome and will be coached as needed.
Shot Size: Only shot sizes between 7.5 and 9 can be used at LCSA.

Join us "FOR the Kids" Sporting Clays Shootout, where each shooter gets 100 sporting clays to shoot from 20 different stations. Remember to bring your own shells! Continental breakfast and buffet style lunch provided as well as prizes for the top shooter, top youth shooter (under 18), and top two teams. Door prizes will be raffled off, along with
a separate gun raffle and 50/50.
Contests: "The IMPOSSIBLE Shot"- $20 per entry (3 entry max). At 3 of the 20 stations, contestants who sign up also get to take a shot at clays C and D (in addition to the A and B clays shot at each station). One extra raffle ticket for the “Impossible Shot” prize is given for each “HIT” of a C clay or D clay.

Come Shoot the 3D Bowhunter Trail on Thursdays!
The LCSA Omega Twang Gang is meeting on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. to shoot the 3D Course. You never know, the aerial target thrower may be out to try your luck! All are welcome, no matter what level of shooting experience or type of bow. Event details listed below:

Bullseye League:
At this time the group will continue shooting in the Indoor Pistol Range until the day light extends later into the evening hours. Once there is more daylight the group is planning to continue outdoors Bullseye (Precision Pistol) shooting in the Pistol Bays.
NRA 50-foot pistol targets will be used for slow, time, and rapid fire controlled by the range officer.
Any member wishing to learn how to shoot Bullseye or increase their skill at shooting Bullseye are welcome to shoot with the group. We have a mix of Guy and Gal shooters.
