With ActiveLCF, residents can:

  • view facility availability,
  • learn about reservation requirements, fees and insurance,

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from June 3 to September 4, LCF residents can take the Beach Bus to Santa Monica Beach.

To ensure your seating availability, make your reservation at www.LAGoBus.com up to ten days in advance, but no later than 10 AM one day prior to your trip.

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and riders are encouraged to assemble at the bus stop ten minutes prior to departure. Riders who miss the bus will need to find their own

Mosquito Preparedness

Mosquito season is fast approaching in Southern California.

The Los Angeles County Vector Control District is here to help our community protect against mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases.

Fight the bite and visit glamosquito.org for tips, resources and service information.

Fire Prevention

In LA County, fire season is year-round. Residents are encouraged to take steps to protect their homes by creating and maintaining defensible space around their properties. Steps include:

  • Remove vegetation that is dead or in contact with structures
  • Keep grass mowed to a maximum height of three inches
  • Store combustible materials, such as propane tanks, away from your home
  • Install irrigation systems where possible to maintain moisture content in soil
  • Use stones or inorganic mulch and native plants with low wood content, like cacti and succulents, to serve as a potential fire break and beautify your home

For more tips on building defensible space, download the Ready! Set! Go! guide from the LA County Fire Department at Fire.LACounty.gov/RSG.

Visit CityofLCF.org/alerts to sign up for real-time emergency communications from AlertLCF.

Pet Leash Reminder

The City reminds residents that all dogs are required to stay on a leash while in public, including at City parks and on trails.

Leashes are required to be no longer than six feet and dogs must remain in the full control of their owner.
