CrewConnex, Delay Irregular Operations and Updated Address

July 11, 2024

CrewConnex

Now that we have layovers, it's essential to use the CrewConnex app for any issues related to hotel or shuttle services. Proper documentation is crucial to ensure all concerns are addressed effectively. The CrewConnex app, accessible on your FAMD, allows you to report any problems promptly. All reports are sent directly to Matt Mitchell, the MEC Hotel and Transportation Chair, ensuring that your feedback is reviewed and action is taken to improve our layover experiences.

Irregular Operations

During irregular operations, it is crucial to record all interactions with crew scheduling, pilots, and agents, noting who they are and approximate times. This detailed documentation helps ensure clarity and accountability. Be sure to use the delay timesheet located in the back of the sign-in sheet for accurate record-keeping. Additionally, familiarize yourself with the legality language found in Section 7 and the LAX Side Letter of your contract to understand your rights and obligations fully.

If you encounter any discrepancies, promptly file a Scheduling Clarification (SCR) with all the necessary details.

Update Mailing Address

There are two address rosters that need to be maintained. One is managed by AFA International and the other is maintained by the company. Each month, the company sends any address changes to AFA Hawaiian and the MEC roster is adjusted accordingly. The company obtains these address changes from ULTIPRO.

To update your address with the company and AFA Hawaiian, please do so in ULTIPRO.

It is crucial for flight attendants to ensure that both their ULTIPRO and AFA International addresses are current. Keeping your address updated is especially important as we go into negotiations, as materials, ballots, and other information will be mailed to the addresses on file.
