eFiling in LA Superior Court
Probate Division is Coming

Monday, June 5th, 2017 Los Angeles Superior Court plans to mandate electronic filing for documents filed in the Probate Division. The permissive phase will begin
Monday, May 1st, 2017. Janney & Janney will offer an eFiling platform that is integrated directly to the Los Angeles Superior Court - Probate Division.
The Janney & Janney eFiling platform offers your firm the ability to eFile directly with the court for a Janney fee of just $9.00. The user interface will be similar to when you eFile through our portal in the other eFiling counties we offer. As always, we offer readily available customer support for all of your eFiling needs. Also, for just $25.00, you can send us your paper document and we will eFile on your behalf to help you become more comfortable in this transition.
We will offer two payment options when eFiling through our portal.
Invoices are delivered for every eFiling order completed
and transaction receipts are sent via email the day after payments are processed. Invoices are also view-able within the portal once the order is processed.

The following documents will not be excepted via electronic filing, but may still be filed through Janney & Janney directly in the court:
1. Peremptory challenges or challenges for cause of a judicial officer (CCP ยง170.6 or 170.1)
2. Original testamentary instruments (wills & codicils), letters, original trust documents, and bond or undertaking documents
3. Trial and hearing exhibits
4. Documents filed in civil cases that are related for handling in the probate division
5. Lodged documents
