Earlier this year, over 120 filmmakers from all over the country came to Shreveport, Bossier City, and the surrounding community to make a short film. Of those films, 20 were selected to compete at the festival for the ultimate cash prize for a short film in the world - $50,000. When you attend the film festival, you will vote alongside celebrity judges for which film you think deserves the grand prize. Film Prize Festival Weekend isn't just filled with screenings of the amazing short films and voting, but with one-of-a-kind parties, music, food, and camaraderie which make up the heart of our communities.
