ADVOCACY IN ACTION
Make Your Voice Heard:
Say NO to Inclusionary Housing!
Next Tuesday the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will hear the County's Inclusionary Housing Ordinance. This policy was made worse at the County Planning Commission in April. We are disappointed that amid a housing crisis, and now a global health pandemic, that the County will be moving forward with this Ordinance.

Click the button below to send a letter to the Supervisors asking them to vote NO on the Ordinance. Now is not the time to increase costs and hurdles to build housing!
A WEEK WITH BIA-LAV
BIA-LAV Hosts a Government Affairs Roundtable with LA City Councilman Bob Blumenfield
This week, BIA-LAV hosted a Government Affairs Roundtable with Los Angeles 3rd District, City Councilman Bob Blumenfield. BIA-LAV Members learned more about building related legislation, including the "Building a Safer Los Angeles" motion. We also received an update on the City's operations under COVID-19 and the recent City budget.

Thank you to the Councilman and his staff, we look forward to continuing to work with his office on housing and construction issues!
