Chon Tachon  (You Shall Have Mercy) by Maureen Nehedar

This past Saturday evening as part of our S'lichot program we studied the lyrics of Chon Tachon sung by Maureen Nehedar, an Israeli singer and composer. She has created a revival of Persian-Jewish traditional poetry, and this song reflects an important theme of the High Holidays. We share this with you as we prepare to welcome the new year on Rosh HaShanah.
