Atlantic and Hagen Ranch Rd). The film is "FAREWELL MR. HAFFMANN", which is a drama taking place in France during WW II. After the Nazi occupation of Paris, a talented jeweller named Joseph Haffmann, arranges for his family to flee the city and offers one of his employees the chance to take over his business store until the conflict subsides. Rabbi Barry will speak prior to the film. We welcome one and all to join for this excellent film! • Friday, JANUARY 12, 7:00 pm ET - VirtualCELEBRATION of SHABBAT honoring the music of Debbie Friedman, with Rabbi Barry Silver and Cantor Carol Garrett! All are welcomed to join with us for our virtual celebration of Shabbat on January 12th. We will feature a musical tribute to Debbie Friedman, American singer-songwriter of Jewish religious music. Many of Debbie's songs have become part of the tapestry of weekly Shabbats throughout the world. Be a part of our rational, relevant, musical celebration service which will certainly lift your spirits! Hear extraordinary messages from Rabbi Barry and awesome music from Cantor Carol! Rabbi Barry will read from the Torah and share the passage with us, providing his insight and translation. We hope you will also stay on following for some Schmoozing Time! For more information, please CLICK HERE. The virtual links will be sent via email later in the week and will also be available from our website.

A VERY SPECIAL COMMUNITY-WIDE PROJECT

LIGHT A YAHRZEIT CANDLE IN HONOR OF DEBBIE FRIEDMAN

Monday, JANUARY 8 at sunset - Tuesday, JANUARY 9

We hope that you will light a Yahrzeit candle for Debbie Friedman, American singer and songwriter of Jewish religious music, a well-known and amazing icon in Jewish music. This idea was conceived by Cantor Jeff Klepper after watching the beautiful and meaningful music video created by Aley Sheer in honor of Debbie (click on the link below to watch this wonderful tribute video).

If you think you do not know the music of Debbie Friedman, then perhaps you really do: we sing her "Mi Shebeirach" healing song every Friday night and there are many, many more familiar melodies and songs that Debbie wrote that are staples to our Shabbat services. We will include many of Debbie's songs this Friday evening, January 12th in our L'Dor Va-Dor Shabbat!

To watch Aley Sheer's very special video, please CLICK HERE at anytime.
