Loss of beloved church member

It's with sadness we share the news that Hilde Hutchinson died unexpectedly on June 27th. She was a very dear member who faithfully attended our 11am service.

Memorial Service will be July 13th, Saturday at 4:00pm in the Sanctuary with reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. If you would like to help with desserts for the reception, please contact Natha Caldwell.

Welcome to the Church Family!

On June 30, we welcomed the Pruitt Family as members of our church! Rowan and Oliver were baptized and their parents Cody and Lauren Pruitt joined the church!

Welcome to the world, baby Liam!

Pastor Jun and his wife Min welcomed their baby boy Liam on June 17, 2024. Please join us in congratulating Pastor Jun next time you see him!

We had a great first week at VBS in the Park! We met lots of families and got to share the love of God with 30 really cool kids! We look forward to another evening in the park this Sunday!

We hope to see even more of our church families at the park this Sunday. Free for all to attend, so invite your friends and neighbors!

Backpack and School Supply Drive

We are collecting NEW backpacks and school supplies to give to students in need in our community. Our goal is to collect enough backpacks and supplies to fill 24 backpacks!

You can purchase items off our Amazon wishlist here, or purchase locally. You can mark on the Amazon list if you have purchased it elsewhere or let the office know. Collection bin will be in the Fellowship Hall starting July 7th.

If you'd like to give a monetary donation, please put it in the offering plate marked "School Supplies".

Collection will end on July 30th. We will have a Pizza and Packing event on Thursday, August 1st to fill the backpacks and make keychains and cards to include with them.

First Sunday Food Offering

This Summer, on the first Sunday of the month we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Blessings Box during both services. With the rising cost of groceries and students being out of school not receiving free school meals, the Blessings Box is getting utilized more. Your donations help us keep the Blessings Box full and share with our neighbors. Please consider bringing food items with you to the first Sunday of the Month offering!

During 9am service there will be a basket on the first pew for you to place your items before service, during children's time, offering or communion, or after the service.

During the 11am service, kids will pull a wagon through the aisles during the offering song to collect your items.

July Blessings Box Drive - Hot weather essentials

This month, in addition to food items, consider donating hot weather essentials like bottled water, sunscreen, and chapstick!

As always, kid-friendly food and snack items are needed for kids that are out of school for the summer. Diapers are another highly requested item.

Please help us maintain the integrity of the Blessings Box. Only donate new, unopened non-perishable food and hygiene products.

Drivers needed

Meals on Wheels for Kyle is operating out of our Fellowship Hall and providing meals to our community 5 days a week. They are needing volunteers for help delivering meals. If you are able to help even just occasionally, please reach out to the coordinator, Gloria Yanez at 512-431-9150.

UWF is on summer recess for meetings. They will begin meeting again on September 9th. UWF meets on the second Monday of each month at the time and location above except during the summer. We share a monthly devotional, prayers, fellowship, friendship, and a light lunch.

Inspire Grief Support Group 

Inspire Grief Support group meets every Wednesday from 10:30 am until Noon. We read many different books from various authors to help put names and explanations to feelings and why we experience them.

If you are dealing with a loss of your spouse, loss of your career, loss of your health, loss of your "self, Inspire Grief Support Group may help you find the tools to assist you bear this unbearable season in your life! We absolutely welcome YOU. You are not alone! Don't endure your sadness and even hopelessness by yourself.

If you would like to contribute donuts for one Sunday, you can sign up in the Fellowship Hall or talk to Lisa and Ana Bible about how you can get involved. Please let them know if you intend to bring donuts so we don't duplicate efforts.
