Join Rabbi Sam Spector this Shabbat for a class on Rabbinic Commentaries looking primarily, but not exclusively, at Rashi and the Torah portion of the week. Please meet in the Library approximately 20 minutes after the service concludes.
Community Passover Seder on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30pm at Congregation Kol Ami. Join us for a special community seder, led by Rabbi Spector and Cantor Brown-Levy! This will be a catered, traditional Kosher-for-Passover dinner (vegetarian option available). Seating is limited!

Celebrate the Great Salt Lake! Monday, April 1st 6:30pm doors open • 7:00pm movie • Congregation Kol Ami: Sponsored by Congregation Kol Ami and the Great Salt Lake Interfaith Action Coalition (gslinterfaith.org), join us for a viewing of the documentary film, Whales of the High Desert, from The Good Line Production House. After the 21-minute film, there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers, followed by a celebration to honor Great Salt Lake champions who worked hard during this legislative session.

Seating is limited. Advanced registration required by March 31st.

Join the Rosh Chodesh Women's Group to make hygiene kits for the Utah Women's Homeless Shelter on Tuesday, April 9th at 6:30pm in the Kol Ami Youth Lounge. We will have a light supper and then put together the kits from our donations. They are most in need of adult diapers, underwear, and conditioner.

You can shop our Amazon wish list to easily send your donations to Kol Ami or feel free to drop them off at the office!

The Mitzvah Network is now known as the Chesed Caring Committee. Need a ride to synagogue? Visit while in the hospital? Need a meal delivered after you’ve had a baby or been too seriously ill to cook? Our Caring Committee is here to provide a helping hand!


We are currently seeking volunteers to help out with this important service we provide to our community. Those interested can contact Nancy Strahinic, Chesed Chairperson.
