2024 Annual Congregational Meeting & Meeting to Review the Proposed 2024 Amended and Restated Bylaws

Review Meeting: Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00pm

Annual meeting: Wednesday, August 21st at 7:00pm

Please join us in welcoming Cantor Davis and Amanda at services on Friday, July 26th, on Shabbat morning, July 27th followed by a special kiddush in their honor.
Please donate to our 5785 High Holiday Appeal!

The beginning of a new year brings the promise of another exciting year in the growth of our Congregation Kol Ami history. Our Kol Ami family has risen to 408 memberships as of June 30th, which represents more than 40% growth in the last four years. Over one third of our membership is under 50 years old and of the 230 children between 0 and 18, 170 are 13 or younger.

Congregation Kol Ami is young again, we are energetic, participatory, traditional, and progressive. We are so fortunate to have the leadership of Rabbi Sam Spector, and we are super excited about our new Cantor, Adam Davis. To support our membership and clergy we have built a skilled and dedicated staff and infrastructure. Our goal is to program for every age group and demographic. To achieve these goals requires more funds than our dues and tuition. We will never turn someone away due to financial insecurity. However, this means we need to make up the differences in donations, and our Annual Appeal goal for this year is $250k. So, we ask or your contribution. Please show your support for our community, our staff, and the sacred work we are doing to embody our values and aspirations now and for a Jewish future.

We are so grateful for your membership and generosity, and we hope you have been moved by all that we are accomplishing.

Shofar Blowing Class with Larry Green • Contact the office and let us know the best time to attend our classes (weekday or weekend). Tekiah!

You know how you feel when you hear the Shofar for the first time each year? Now, YOU can BE the one sounding the shofar to awaken the inner self at Rosh Hashanah. This summer, we are recruiting the next class of students! We'll provide practice tubes and teach you the simple techniques to create the sounds everyone loves. If you have a shofar, bring it along; if not, you can use one of ours.

Contact the office to let us know you're interested!
