We are collecting the following items in July in support of the food pantry at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church: children's lunch box size snacks (Goldfish crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, breakfast bars), rice (white or brown), dried beans (black, red, garbanzo or pinto). Please drop your items in the donation boxes outside of the Worship Center. Contact Glenn Keller with any questions.

Join us at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 8th for a time of prayer for VBS. Anyone is welcome! We will meet downstairs in the Family Center to pray for the volunteers, the kids, and more. Hope to see you there!

On Thursday night, July 11th, we will provide a "grab and go" meal for our hard working VBS volunteers. To help make this a true blessing to our volunteers, we need a few people to help set up, clean up, and provide food donations. All food donations need to be dropped off in the church foyer between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 11th. Thank you for helping us honor and thank our hard working volunteers! If you have any questions, please contact Katie (Katie@knoll.org). 

During the week of VBS, the families that attend will be asked to donate snacks to create "snack packs" for families in need who visit the Lorton Community Action Center Food Pantry. On the last night of VBS, the oldest group of kids will work to assemble these packs. If you want to help make sure these kids stay busy packing, please consider donating the following items by Thursday, July 11th:  

• Small bottles of water (8 or 10 oz)
• Small bottles of Gatorade (12 oz)
• Granola Bars
• Protein Bars
• Peanut Butter or Cheese Crackers
• Snack Size Bags of Chips
• On-the-Go Tuna/Chicken with Crackers
