We are pleased and proud to congratulate the Class of 2023 for their well-deserved success and the commendable achievements they have attained throughout their stay at St. John's School. The Class of 2023 celebrated their graduation on Saturday, June 3rd at the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa Ballroom.

Kindergarten Class of 2035 Graduation | |
|
Congratulations to the Class of 2035 kindergarten graduates who have just been promoted to the 1st grade! They received their certificates of promotion on June 7th in the Lower School Courtyard, celebrating with their families and friends.

The upper school Class of 2024 juniors received their class rings at the annual Ring Ceremony, symbolizing the handing down of responsibility from the seniors to the juniors.

Knights Excel in Science, Math, and Social Studies Competitions | |
National Merit Finalists 2023 | |
All ten St. John’s upper school seniors advanced from semifinalist to finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Of the 15,000 selected finalists, approximately 7,250 of these talented high school seniors will earn a National Merit Scholarship award this spring.

U.S. Presidential Scholar, Semifinalists, Candidates, and Distinguished Teacher | |
Class of 2023's Jin Chung, and upper school English teacher, Mrs. Leslie Salas, were named U.S. Presidential Scholar and Distinguished Teacher, respectively.

Miwa Gudmundsen, Seungho (Sunny) Kang, John Zachary Robato, and Kasey Xu. Semifinalists include Elizabeth Chua, Mark Wang, and Justine Xu.

Students Express Themselves Through Music, Arts, and Writing | |
St. John's students did very well and placed in their respective categories at the Toyota Dream Car Contest and Young Artist Competition, and upper school students, Grace Kang, placed first overall in the 2023 Guam Congressional Art Competition, and Rina Olsen was selected as a co-Grand Champion in the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association’s 37th Annual Student Poetry Contest.
Students also showcased their artistic and musical prowess at the annual Spring Concert/Senior Tribute Concert, IB Visual Art Exhibition: Intertwined, IB Music Night: The Finale, and Philippine Consulate General’s Mga Sinag ng Sining (Rays of Art) Art Exhibition (US Student: Liam Padua / Teacher: Rolly Zepeda.
