Our students took us on a global musical journey at our Christmas Concerts on December 8th in the school gym. Themed 'Christmas Around The World,' the day had two sessions: one for the lower school in the morning and another for the middle and upper school in the afternoon.

Guam Congressional App Challenge | |
St. John’s School upper school students, Kevin Choi, Kelvin Lee, Alex Shin, and Taisei Tagami, clinched first place in the Guam Congressional App Challenge with their app, Guam Medicenters. Additionally, St. John's 6th grader Nytt Sharma secured second place with his app, Guamunity. Congratulations, Knights!

St. John's 3rd Annual Benefit Concert | |

St. John’s School held its 3rd Annual Benefit Concert dedicated to supporting the Don Bosco Boys’ Home and Training Center in Liloan, Cebu, Philippines. The event, themed "Blast from the Past," featured captivating performances by the SJS Orchestra, Glee Club, Faculty, and guest dancers from Skip Entertainment Co., transporting attendees to an enjoyable nostalgic experience.

Seven Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalist | |
Seven St. John’s School seniors have been identified as semifinalists in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Of the 16,000 selected semifinalists, more than 15,000 are expected to advance to the Finalist level.

St. John's Inaugural Chess Tournament | |
On November 17th, St. John’s organized its first-ever school-wide chess tournament in the school library. The event drew 32 students who engaged in 8 rounds, each round featuring a time control of 5-minute increments per player, challenging one another in thrilling matches.

AP School Honor Roll - Platinum Status | |
St. John’s School has attained Platinum status on the 2022-23 AP School Honor Roll from the College Board due to the outstanding performance of the Class of 2023.

Alfred C. Ysrael Memorial Pool Renovation | |
The Alfred C. Ysrael Memorial Pool, after undergoing renovation, marked its official reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the school administration, Board of Trustees, and members from the school and swimming communities.

Knight Profile: Annie (Liu) Yi - Class of 2006 | |
|
We catch up with Annie (Liu) Yi, a St. John’s lifer from the Class of 2006. Working as a manager at a pharmacy linked to an HIV/Hepatitis clinic, she dedicates herself to serving the homeless community in LA's Skid Row. In her role, she finds fulfillment in contributing to the well-being of the community.
