Happy New Year from Kin Canada's Service Network!
|
Happy New Year, fellow Kin!
On behalf of Kin Canada's Service Network, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all clubs and members who worked tirelessly throughout the 2021 holiday season. The impact you’ve had on your communities - even despite challenges and hurdles over the past few years - is truly impressive and inspiring.
As 2021-2023 National Service Director, I have the pleasure of hearing from all District Service Directors about what clubs in their region have been up to. However, I know it is common for many Kin to see mostly what is happening within our own club, zone, or district only. For that reason, I wanted to share some coast-to-coast service and project highlights with you!
|
While I cannot capture each and every incredible service project in a single newsletter (you'd be reading ALL DAY), the highlights below will give you a small snapshot of how clubs were able to make a difference in their communities over the holidays. I hope they give you the warm fuzzies - and maybe spark some inspiration for projects your club can try in the future.
Lisa Maggrah
2021-2023 National Service Director

Those kids will now have a very happy Christmas morning, and their parents will get to see the smiles on their faces. Every one of you who made a donation of toys or money, helped do that. We are incredibly thankful for the support we receive from you year after year - individuals and businesses alike. Our community is truly the greatest. When a call for help is placed, you always rise to the challenge and show us that we are all one, and in this together.” All that time standing outside of stores to fill their recognizable blue barrels, they were, in their words, “freezin’ for a reason!”
