GA DCH RFP Update*
The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) released a Request for Proposal (RFP) in 2023 to evaluate Care Management Organizations (CMO’s) for a new Medicaid contract effective 2025. DCH is evaluating all CMO’s who submitted a proposal to ensure they meet the requirements of the Georgia Medicaid program. The CMO’s providing service in Georgia today are Amerigroup, CareSource, and Peach State Health Plans. DCH has not released the results of their RFP, but an announcement is tentatively expected in mid to late 2024.
For practices that participate in TCCN payor contracts:
To ensure member practices are well positioned, TCCN proactively signed Letters of Agreement/Intent with all CMO’s who submitted a proposal to DCH. If a practice receives an email, call, or contract from a Medicaid CMO trying to recruit for their network, you are under no obligation to sign their documents.
