Prepare both you and your crew for race day success

We are so excited to welcome runners and your crew!

  • No Crew Access at Bluff aid station until 6:30 pm. If crew arrives here earlier it will be to pickup their runner. Strictly enforced.

  • Parking on sides of roads, all four tires must be off the road. We can not block passage for anyone using the roads. Strictly enforced.

  • Crew can go to Scuppernong/Hwy ZZ or to Hwy 67. Do not try to make it to both. If you find a parking spot at one of these locations, stay there to see your runner twice. This will help make parking easier for everyone.

  • It is suggested that your crew download the maps to work offline if using a phone for navigation. You can pre-add the aid station locations and save them.

  • You may see a horse on the trail. Speak when you see them- this information is passed on from an active horse riding group, they say "a silent human is a deadly human according to a horse."

  • No littering.

  • Treat volunteers, runners and other trail users with respect.

  • If you quit during the event you must notify a race official to let them know you are leaving the course.

  • The Kettle Spreadsheets list important rules that runners are required to make sure their crew follows.

RELAY RUNNERS MUST DISPLAY A LARGE COLORFUL PARKING PASS IN YOUR WINDOW EVERY TIME YOU PARK AT AN AID STATION. THIS PASS WILL BE WITH YOUR CAPTAINS PACKET

This is because you have access to more stations than other runners.
