Capital Projects & Technology Projects

During the Pine Tree Elementary window replacement project from the 2018 levy, there was an issue with the interior finishes of the operable windows, as well as the limiters when opening. Trim was installed to match existing conditions of the fixed windows and limiters were installed in the track to keep the windows from opening more than four inches.

Carriage Crest Elementary School Parking Lot

The design phase has been completed for the parking lot entrance improvements at Carriage Crest Elementary School from the 2016 bond. This work will be completed in summer 2024 and includes removing a portion of the north side of the existing entrance to accommodate an entrance lane and two exit lanes. The rest of the parking lot will be seal coated and receive new striping. This work will help with site access during arrival and dismissal times and preserve the condition of the asphalt.

The design has been started for the Meeker HVAC upgrade from the 2018 levy in conjunction with the controls upgrade project from the 2016 bond. The engineering team is looking at ways to temper the air utilizing the existing tunnels and pathways from the original building. Construction is anticipated to start in summer 2025.
