Save the Date: Career and College Expo

STPPS will be hosting a Career and College Expo across two evenings. The first event will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10th at The Harbor Center in Slidell, and the second event will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11th at The Castine Center in Mandeville.

Parents and Caregivers: Complete the Strategic Plan Survey

The St. Tammany Parish Public System is asking all parents and caregivers to help plan for the future by completing the Strategic Plan Survey. This survey will help make STPPS an even better place. Your responses will be anonymous. If you have children in multiple schools, please fill out a separate survey for each school.

National Merit Semifinalists

We are proud to announce that five STPPS students have been named 2024 National Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.


This year’s semifinalists are Yousef Saadeh and Michael Willems of Fontainebleau High; and Nicholas Franklin, Elise Parnell, and Blaise Polk of Mandeville High.

Go Gold Day

To help raise awareness for children facing cancer, we asked students and staff across our district to Go Gold on Friday, September 22nd!


Go Gold Day empowers kids to stand up for and with their peers, and to show compassion and empathy for those facing this extremely difficult battle.

Dr. Cade Brumley Visits Mandeville High

Louisiana State Superintendent of Education Dr. Cade Brumley visited Mandeville High School on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023. During the visit, Dr. Brumley taught a civics class for Celebrate Freedom Week.

Lead Strong

During the 2023-24 school year, teachers, support staff, administrators, and more will be honored with the Lead Strong bracelet. These individuals are dedicated to building a strong future for the students in STPPS.


Congratulations to the honorees so far this year: Lacy Ellzey from Whispering Forest Elementary, FCA students and adults, Officer Terence Calais from Cypress Cove Elementary, and James Carruth from Chahta-Ima Elementary.
