Providing Enrichment and Mental Exercise for your Pet

Like it or not, winter's here and we'll be spending more time indoors with our pets. Older pets and those with injuries or disease are usually more home-bound than their more physically-abled pals. Whether due to weather, injury, disease, or age, pets that need to stay indoors can benefit greatly from enrichment activities and mental stimulation. Mentally exercising your pup with fun and motivating activities can also make them calmer; it's a win/win. READ MORE

Before starting to bake, please read

  • Please check with your veterinarian before introducing new foods into your pet’s diet.
  • Don't add chocolate, cherries, grapes, or raisins to treats. They are toxic to pets.
  • NEVER give cooked bones to your pets. They can splinter and pierce their belly or intestines. No one wants a trip to the animal ER, especially during the holidays.

For All Recipes: Preheat oven to 325-350 degrees, depending your oven. Keep an eye on the treats. Treats should be cooked through and on the drier side. Treats will harden as they cool.
