Keep Swimming!!! 3/27/24
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
There is ALWAYS/ALWAYS/ALWAYS something to worry about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Philippians 4:6 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
CAREFUL-from (merimna); to be anxious about :- (be, have) care (-ful), take thought.
Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
WE-you or I-could win the recent billion dollar lottery but, sadly, money does NOT cure worry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even when and if things seem to be going WONDERFUL.
It helps immensely IF one is able to actually BELIEVE and actuate the Word of God:
It is equally as hard to WAIT and/or hold ones tongue when faced with contrary wind of opinion...............
Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
The NEGATIVE outcomes flood our minds and hearts as the POSSIBILTIES of catastrophic disaster seem inevitable and unavoidable.
WHAT WILL I DO IF........................................................????????????????
It is a BEAUTIFUL Spring day here in Georgia-SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!!!!!
Highs here are forecast for the low 80's this weekend and the sun is shining merrily.
I feel good/ DO-DA-DO-DA-DO/AKA James Brown/, BUT I find it difficult to shake the feeling of imminent danger and/or destruction?????? Even crossing a BRIDGE is frightening now in wake of the recent bridge collapse!!!! AMEN!!??
Sadly, tomorrow's problems and tomorrow's answers CANNOT and will NOT ever be solved today.
WE ANXIOUSLY await the doctor's report that seldom arrives on the weekends.....
WE fearfully wonder how we will ever pay that impending bill can or will be paid.....
Psalm 27:5 (KJV)
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
HE SHALL/HE SHALL/HE SHALL-Three times God says “FOR IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE HE SHALL HIDE ME (AND YOU)!!!!!
In such troubling time it is hard to fully grasp and cling to:
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:31-32 (KJV)
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
In this world of suffering and madness WE MUST “cling to that Rock of Ages”-Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!!!
ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND!!!!!!!!!!!!
During a study at Harvard in the 1950s, Dr. Curt Richter placed rats in a pool of water to test how long they could tread water.
On average they'd give up and sink after 15 minutes.
But right before they gave up due to exhaustion, the researchers would pluck them out, dry them off, let them rest for a few minutes - and put them back in for a second round.
In this second try - how long do you think they lasted?
Remember - they had just swam until failure only a few short minutes ago...
How long do you think?
Another 15 minutes?
10 minutes?
5 minutes?
No!
60 hours!
That's not an error.
That's right! 60 hours of swimming.
The conclusion drawn was that since the rats BELIEVED that they would eventually be rescued, they could push their bodies way past what they previously thought impossible.
I will leave you with this thought:
If hope can cause exhausted rats to swim for that long, what could a belief in yourself and your abilities, do for you?
Remember what you’re capable of. Remember why you’re here. "
KEEP SWIMMING!!! JESUS IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God Bless You!!!
