Hello my dear ones,
Happy May, all! I can't believe it has been a month since I last emailed...the Spring energy boost and brighter, longer days has me cleaning, washing and planting! I hope that you too are enjoying the (finally) Spring warm up and getting some much needed outdoor living time. Springtime is tricky as I wrote in my last newsletter, the weather can be very variable, vishama, triggering variable digestion and variable mind/body emotions. I'm always here to answer any questions and to help-just reach out.
One thing that I have been paying special attention to this Spring is my skin now that more of it is exposed with warmer weather (and less clothing :). Plus, I'm in the middle of studying the skin as part of my formal Ayurvedic Practitioner training. (Just 2 more classes to go after this one before graduation !) As my Ayurvedic doctor/mentor explains- "The skin is the mirror of what is going on inside the body" ... you can literally SEE health and wellness expressed via your body's largest sensory organ.
