A Movement of Prayer for the Entertainment Industry
Greetings from Hollywood!
We are excited for another week of prayer requests so that we can all pray together for the people, the projects, and the issues in Hollywood. God is moving in our industry and we want to encourage you that your prayers are making an eternal difference. I just got off the phone today with a producer who thanked HPN for praying because he is seeing more films and TV shows produced with faith elements than ever before. THANK YOU!!! LET'S PRAY…….
Also, AT THE END OF THIS CALL SHEET is where we post all of the AWESOME events and community group gatherings happening at HPN so Please KEEP READING!

Kat Von D is a New Believer
Kat Von D, the most famous Tattoo Artist in the country, recently became a Christian and got baptized! Kat is a brave new follower of Jesus and yet she just posted that after her baptism it surprised her that it wasn't the atheists who got angry at her, but it was the Christians; questioning her sincerity, judging her dress and making nasty comments about her decision. HPN is asking all of you who are reading this to please not judge Kat or anyone, especially a new Christian! And please tell anyone who does that to stop. We are praying that HPN members are known for our love, not our hate or judgment. Listen to the love in Kat's heart when she talks about what Christians have said to her after she became a Christian. And let's praise God for her decision, and pray for her to grow in her faith every day! This is a time to rejoice, not judge. THANK YOU!!

Nick Vujicic on "I Am Second"
We praise God for how video can be used powerfully for the gospel. If you have not heard of “I am Second” videos, you have to check them out. They are beautifully shot videos of global celebrities telling their personal stories of how Jesus transformed their lives. They are watched by millions of people and each story is powerful. Check out the incredible Nick Vujicic, whose story will make you want to never complain about anything in your life again! And be sure to thank God for both Nick and for the power of storytelling on-line!

SAG/AFTRA Continues to Strike
We were hopeful that the SAG/AFTRA strike would end last week and now it’s not looking good. We have to pray for both the AMPTP and SAG/AFTRA to come to terms by being willing to compromise in what they want. DGA and WGA are good to go. Now let’s ask the Lord to bring SAG/AFTRA and the AMPTP together in a fair decision! You don’t realize that what happens in Hollywood affects cities across the globe. Watch this news piece from Buffalo, NY, talking about how the strike is negatively impacting their city. We need to pray for the Lord to intervene because millions of people are hurting across the country during this strike:

Britney Spears
Britney Spears is in need of continued prayer as she releases her "tell-all" book, "The Woman in Me". In the book, Britney addresses painful experiences throughout her career, including the conservatorship, having her children taken from her, a secret abortion, and shaving her head. Britney needs healing, and she also needs the support that she has never gotten from the Christian community. We are the ones who can pray that she will find healing and restoration in the arms of her faithful, loving Heavenly Father.

Pray for Israel
We ask you to pray for the peace of Israel. Our Jewish associates, co-workers, bosses, friends, and their families are hurting both in Israel and here, as they lose family members and friends. And we want to walk alongside them with love and compassion for all that they are going through. May the Lord reveal Himself to them in miraculous ways! And we ask for prayer for our friend and HPN Local Chapter Director in Jerusalem, CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell. May he be safe as he leads his news teams during this tumultuous time.

A Faith-Based Video Game
Pray for the impact that the Chinese best-selling video game based on a trilogy of excellent novels Three Body, is having on the players across the globe. The game, which is a science fiction trilogy written by Liu Cixin, is based on a Christian's desire to combine science with Theology through his own faith. A review of the books says: "He also possesses a reasonable knowledge of the Bible, in particular the founding myths in Genesis 1-3. This is particularly surprising since in China, Christianity is essentially forbidden.” Let’s pray that this video game influences its players to move one step closer to Jesus!

Taylor Swift is on Top
American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has broken all box office records with her Eras Tour film that even pushed back the dates of two faith-based films from opening last week-end because of Taylor’s overwhelming sales. Let’s pray for Taylor, as the #1 top-selling female star of all time, and for the single female audience in America, which is now leading the box office numbers! There is a spiritual shift in our culture today and we want to pray for everyone involved. And Taylor knows Jesus so we ask that He holds on to her through her fame, and that she holds on to Him!

Below is the podcast interview with Tom about his new novel.
Tom Hanks’ First Novel
HPN loves Tom Hanks and his positive impact on the world through both his films and his life. Tom is a man of faith, of integrity, and with a respect for all people. He has just come out with his first novel, The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece, and we want to pray that Tom continues to be creative, loving, and eternally impactful with his choices, actions, words, and relationships. Thanks for being a class act, Tom!

Jada Pinkett Smith's Memoir
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith just released her memoir entitled "Worthy." In the book, Jada opens up about her relationship with her estranged husband Will Smith, and the struggles, joys, and lessons she's learned in life so far. Let's pray for Jada, Will, their children, and the brokenness that has plagued their desire for a strong family. May they discover Jesus on their journey.

Pray for Hollywood Prodigals
Let’s pray today for the many PRODIGALS who are in Hollywood. So many creative professionals grew up in the church, came to Hollywood, and fell away. We want to ask the Lord to heal family hurts, church hurts, and anything else that pulled these people away from the Lord. And we believe that they are coming back. Here are some known children of God who are currently not following Him: Vanessa Hudgens, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Bella Thorne. We pray the Lord’s promise over these and others we know: “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

It's for all the men and women who've wanted to step into more but have been stuck- questioning whether or not the world really needs their light. If this sounds familiar, then RADIANT is for you.
