HELD AT NORTH ATLANTA HIGH SCHOOL

Are you looking for something creative and unique for your child to do this summer? Is your child gifted in the arts or just interested in learning more about the arts?? If you answered yes to both of these questions then Kamp Kile's World is the solution to your child's summer time boredom blues. In partnership with KangaZoom we present Kamp Kile's World!

On March 29, 2013, Tameka Raymond launched Kile's World Foundation (www.kilesworldfoundation.org), a non-profit 501c3 organization in memory of Kile Ishmael Glover, her son who passed away at the age of 11 in a tragic boating accident on Lake Lanier in July 2012. Since Kile's passing, Tameka has re-dedicated her life's work and efforts on a mission to keep his memory alive and allow his spirit to do amazing work through her and the Kile's World Foundation. Kamp Kile's World is our signature program and fulfills the core mission of the Kile's World Foundation.

Kile was a prodigy who loved, created and exercised many forms of art. He acted in stage productions; wrote, produced and performed music and he was a budding visual artist. He enjoyed painting abstract art; designing CD covers for his own music and took a serious interest in photography. Kile's passion for the arts became the inspiration for the mission and purpose of the foundation. The mission of the Kile's World Foundation is to gift children with the endless possibilities of creative endeavor through applied, fine and performing arts. Through this mission, Kile's World Foundation intends to offer comprehensive art education to children ranging from ages 8-17 years old; focusing on performing, fine and applied arts. This summer's kamp will focus on 4 areas of study:

Music Production/Song Writing
Fine Arts - Drawing/Illustration
Theatre
Dance

The Kampers will be tasked with completing an assigned project/routine/or production from beginning to end over the course of the 3-week Kamp. On the last day of Kamp, the students will present their completed projects in the Kamp Kile's World Showcase Finale to their family and friends in a first-class professional production.

Our inaugural Kamp Kile's World last summer was a HUGE SUCCESS and all of our Kile's World Kampers were able to explore their artistic interests with the guidance and support of our mentors and kamp counselors. Check out a short you tube film on last summer's 2013 kamp at http://youtu.be/U132upIO3Ok or www.kilesworld.org for various pictures and additional information. You may also email trina@kilesworld.org for specific questions.

Cost: $150/week
Sign up by Friday, June 20th 2014 and receive $25 off your weekly registration cost. There is also a 10% discount for siblings.
