Dear Valued Members,
Welcome to almost Spring! What a wild ride this past month has been with the weather. Rain, snow, hail, and sunshine—sometimes all at the same time! This year is already going by fast. I know I want to make the most of it, how about you? Have you tried any new classes or activities? Our saltwater pool is amazing. I know I do not get to utilize it enough! Did you know pickleball is included in every membership level? There are five designated times to play and members can reserve courts for open play at other times. If you are a tennis player, do you know about Ladies' Night and Men’s Night? Ladies Night is designed for new or intermediate players who want to play for fun and meet some awesome ladies. We do occasionally let an honorary man play if we are short players or if they are looking for a way to connect. Men's Night is open to all players, levels, and genders. There is a lot to do at KTAC. Please reach out to me or the front desk if you have any questions.
I just sent out monthly statements and I see a lot of new names! Welcome to KTAC and as always, thank you for the support and kindness I feel from all members.
March brings in two holidays and we will lose an hour of sleep. We are having our Tennis Social this Friday, March 8, with a Saint Patrick's Day theme (you do not have to be a tennis player for this) and our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Open House on March 30. There is nothing I can do about the lost sleep though! LOL! Come join us for these two amazing events! We are always looking for volunteers for the Egg Hunt. We also are having an Aqua Egg Hunt that day in the pool. We are collecting candy and SMALL toy donations to fill the eggs for this free community event. Any help is very much appreciated.
The hot tub saga goes on. We were close to opening it and then one of the pumps went out. I promise you that as soon as possible we will have it open. The parts should be here any day.
I am not serious very often in my newsletter, but this is important. A couple of weeks ago, we had two cars broken into in our parking lot. This does not happen often. Unfortunately, there are people out there who think it is okay to take things that do not belong to them. With that said, please do not leave valuables in your car. We do have cameras in the parking lot and building. I just had the cameras upgraded recently to a system that captures more footage, but they are not what stops thieves. The people who came into our parking lot were very brazen and avoided facial recognition. I do not want to cause a panic but I want to remind you to be aware of your surroundings at all times.
As always, I am so proud to be your manager. My staff thanks you for all of your support as well. Please stop by and visit.
Sincerely,
Katrina Fulkerson
