Once again, the monthly movie night and birthday party were major successes! We had a great volunteer showing at both events; thank you so much to the wonderful hosts of movie night, Camila and Gustavo Teixeira, and of the birthday party, Terri Molina and Rachel Danzig, along with all of the teen volunteers that came to help. It is these incredible moments that give foster parents a well-deserved break and make all the difference to the kids. All help is welcomed and appreciated on the second Friday of every month (movie night), the last Sunday of every month (Birthday Celebration), and on other nonspecific days for some of our other projects. This includes our garden, which has been growing beautifully since its installation.
