KGD Architecture performed a complete urban redesign of the building, which modernized the 250,000-square-foot, 14-story mixed-use tower owned by Piedmont Office Realty Trust. This recently completed, comprehensive renovation included state of art replacement of the building mechanical and electrical systems and façade enhancements to achieve LEED certification.

Two story ground level retail was replaced with wide glass openings to reconnect the street activity
with the retailers such as Pacers Running, Mister Day's and Mad Rose Tavern.

"It was vital to Piedmont Office Realty Trust that the building's streetscape be inviting and open to the public,
which is a critical factor in attracting office tenants."
Chris Gordon, Principal, KGD Architecture
