Greetings!
 | | Karl Carswell Owner Operator | Mission Statement: Utilizing baseball to help young people reach their potential in life.
We believe that baseball is a way of life that exists deep within a person's soul. The things the game teaches us can and will last long after we have thrown our last pitch, caught our last ball, or swung our last bat. Because we believe in our mission, I personally take it upon myself to structure our programs so we can spend as much time with each player as possible. We also believe that baseball is bigger than all of us and the game will continue with or without us. We respect our place in the game and only want to be a productive part in the evolutionary process of the game. With this said, we develop programs for the summer, fall, and winter that should enhance the high school season, teams, and programs. Our programs enhance the high school programs by developing more conditioned, more developed, better prepared players who have a wider perspective of baseball and life. We are not in competition with high school baseball as we feel it is a vital part of the development of players. It is our desire that every coach use the time frame they have to unite their team to the best of their ability. With that said, we do not feel as though a High School State Championship or the quest for the High School State Championship is more important than the development of players at any level. As we grow our brand of baseball and company, how it looks and feels will change and we want you to know what to expect as we move forward in 2011 into 2012. Please continue to take a few minutes to explore what we have to offer below. |

Karl Kuhn University of Virgina, Pitching Coach Testimony 2011
"I have known Karl for over 20 years. There is not a better baseball man in the mid-west that I would rather get a player from or have my kid play for. He is honest, fair and teaches the game the right way. The players that I have had from the Barnstormers program know how to work for playing time and that they are going to earn what they receive. They are great teammates and tremendous young men. That is a true testament to what they are taught and what Karl instills in all of the players that come through his program. A fantastic man and a great program."

"...We will see you this summer!!!! We love recruiting your players because you make them play the right way and we know they are tough kids!!!! Looking forward to seeing you!!!..."

Affiliate Teams KCB Youth Teams
Our Affiliate teams are structured to provide young families with a great baseball experience based on professional baseball resources. These resources are to support parents, coaches, and players for the development of the players to the highest level they can achieve. KCB Affiliate Teams receive training, indoor practice, uniforms, and strategic enhancements. We do not put Affiliate Teams together. We help coaches and families build their teams to the level of competition they desire. For more information on becoming a 2012 KCB Affiliate Team email us at info@barnstormersbaseball.com with 2012 KCB Affiliate Team as the subject.

Showcase or Travel Teams KCB High School Age Teams
KC Barnstormers Summer Travel Teams have been playing competitively, winning games, and earning scholarships since 1996 with the same owner/operator since our inception. There is no other organization in Kansas City that can make this claim. We are the oldest most established high school age organization with a proven track record of successfully helping players earn scholarships all over the country. Our teams are structured by our players and families. Most all of our players are recommended by other players. Due to a greater demand to play with us we will host a tryout for the 2012 season. This tryout will be held toward the end of the 2011 summer. We are hosting this event during the season for 2 specific reasons. 1) Players are in the best baseball shape during the summer. 2) We can also provide the best exposure event available for the mid-west kid during the summer because college coaches will attend. The tryout will be the Kansas City ID Camp on July 11-15, 2011. More information is listed below. |

KCB Fall Scout League KCB High School Age League
KCB Scout League is run by Karl Carswell and staff. The league is structured to benefit the level of player committed to attend. This season we will have a high number of 2012 graduates. Therefore, our structure will be mid-week extended batting practice and bullpen session with weekend competition against local JUCO programs and other high school age fall programs. Fall baseball is subject to weather and can not be guaranteed. We schedule this program for 6 weeks and will do our best to get everything played. KCB Fall Scout League will start in late August. Registration will begin in June |
KCB Total Player Training Off-season conditioning
KCB Total Player Training is hands down the most dynamic, effective, efficient, and economic youth development baseball program available in the world today. From November 1-February 28 players train Monday-Thursday evenings for 2 hours. One hour they physically and mentally condition with a program designed, structured, and implemented by Karl Carswell himself. During the second hour players work on developing their individual skills in position specific defensive drill as well as hitting. The 2010-2011 off-season was so successful that we are positive this program will be sold out in 2011-2012.
Players improved quickness, power, endurance, velocity, physical conditioning, and became overall better baseball players because of this program. Players receive 128 hours of training for $995. $7.70 per hour of training with Karl Carswell and staff. Listen below to what Drew Boyce has to say about the program, he cut almost a half second of his 40 yard dash and became physically stronger.
