Summer is just around the corner! We have had a busy few months with a lot of training sessions and events.
We want to ensure that the chamber is serving our members the best we can and that members are aware of all that we offer. There will be a survey being sent out in the next few days, if you can please take a few minutes to complete. We appreciate your support and your feedback!

The Atlantic Chamber of Commerce meetings and PD days were held in Charlottetown last week. I was fortunate enough to take part in these with some great guest speakers, learning more information from some representatives on the benefits that we can offer our Chamber members, some networking and of course a headful of new ideas! We also got to attend the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber President's luncheon as they welcomed in their new President, Kim Griffin!
Always appreciative for these opportunities.

Julie Corbett
Executive Director

The Chamber Executive Director (Julie) and Board of Directors would like to spend more time with our members and we will be having "Caffeine Connections" every couple of months with a different Board Member each time. Please join us for a chat about what is going on in your business/life and we can update you on what is going on with the Chamber and see if there are ways we help you out!

This month will be held at C&B Corner Cafe in Kensington and our guest will be KACC Secretary, Lindsay Connolly who is the Executive Director with Under the Spire Music Festival.
Please join us for the first KACC Car Rally on Fri, June 16th, starting at 6:00pm (start times for teams will be staggered) in the parking lot beside Kensington Town Hall.

What is a Car Rally some have asked? A team of people (preferably ones who get along well and don't get road rage), join together in a vehicle and receive some instructions on where to go and there will be hints and questions along the way. It is not a race but whoever answers the most questions correctly and gets some fun pictures along the route! Sort of like a team scavenger hunt but not on foot.

We want to highlight some of the KACC members while en route and having fun! Your team will be assigned a colour that you can get as creative as you like with it!
You will eventually end up at the Royal Canadian Kensington Legion for a BBQ and some social time.

The cost per team is $30 and food donations to the Kensington Food Bank will be accepted.
Please register by emailing or online.
Space will be limited so please register early!
